A 48 bed hostel situated near both the Hadrian's Wall Path & Pennine Way making it the perfect destination for large groups of walkers, or people exploring our area on a budget.

ABOUT

The Greenhead Hostel is situated across the road from the Hotel, bar & restaurant and as of July 2021 we have just completed a refurbishment, giving it a fresh look.

Our Hostel can sleep up to 48 people and includes a mixture of bunk bed dorms and private double or triple rooms. All the rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities, fully equipped kitchen area, boot room, quiet room, outside picnic are and lounge with TV, pool table & table football.

FACILITIES

Although no food is included in the price, guests are welcome at the Hotel for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even for a few drinks. For larger groups staying in the hostel we can offer buffets in our function room.

For those looking for self-catering our hostel does also have a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for hosting small or large groups of people.

Unfortunately the hostel does not have wheelchair access.

LOCATION

As our hostel is situated just a short walk off both the Hadrian's Wall path & the Pennine way our hostel is often used for a variety of reasons. Including solo walkers, large groups of walkers and those just in the area exploring and looking for a place to stay on a budget.
